Ofir Dor is an artist based in Berlin. His practice centers on the human figure, exploring sexuality, intimacy, the gaze, and interpersonal relationships through expressive, often large-scale painting. Drawing on art history, erotic imagery, dreamlike settings, and contemporary visual culture, Dor constructs scenes in which figures inhabit psychologically and spatially ambiguous environments. Over the course of his practice, his painting has shifted from more detailed figurative compositions toward a freer, gestural approach characterized by expansive color, fluid brushwork, and an intuitive development of recurring themes. Dor holds an MFA from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a BFA from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design. He has lived and worked in Berlin since 2007.
