Nagam Alkadi (b. 2001, Golan Heights) is an artist whose practice is shaped by questions of memory, family, place, borders, and belonging. Growing up in the Golan Heights, a region marked by complex histories and boundaries, has strongly influenced the way she approaches both identity and artistic practice. Alkadi developed her artistic language from an early age and is influenced by realism and expressionism, with a particular interest in colour, detail, and emotional expression. During her studies, she worked across a range of materials and techniques, exploring how art can give form to memories and experiences that are often difficult to articulate in words. Alongside her own practice, she is interested in art education and hopes to create spaces in which children can experience art as a means of expression, discovery, and personal freedom.
