The series explores Tarot cards as a means of introspection and of engaging with experiences, emotions, and memories from my life. The painting process resembles a Tarot reading, in which symbols and images generate insights into emotional states and processes of inner change. Through painting, I weave together my personal world and the symbolic world of Tarot, creating a new interpretation of each card. The four cards represented in the works were chosen because of my connection to the meanings they carry. The Wheel of Fortune addresses the cyclical nature of life and forces beyond human control. The Hanged Man symbolizes suspension, acceptance, and seeing things anew. The Star expresses hope, healing, and growth, while Death symbolizes change, transition, and renewal. Within the pictorial space, the cards appear empty, without their traditional imagery, while the symbols associated with them emerge alongside them. These symbols and experiences replace the cards' original interpretations, taking form through a personal visual language and creating new meanings.
