Biography
Yaara Soffer (b. 1998) is an artist whose work is drawn to everyday objects, family archives, and architectural spaces. She explores the elusive space between the visible and the hidden, and between precise planning and intuitive action.
Her practice is also a process of working through loss and maintaining a material dialogue with her grandfather, who was an architect. By tracing objects from his study, tools, and cardboard models, Soffer seeks to evoke his absent presence, preserve a sense of movement, and give new form to love and longing.
